A deliciously easy and quick breakfast: Jif spread toast. Creamy Jif spread on toast with bananas and chocolate, or crunchy slices of almonds, and bittersweet chunks of dark chocolate. Or the best peanut butter happy option ever, a Jif Bars Creamy Peanut Butter.
I am a believer in making life easier on yourself. These past few weeks we have had a lot of chaos. Well, I guess I should say these past few years. Life is crazy. Times are busy. Kids are demanding. Jobs are demanding. And so are stomachs. At least mine is. It demands food, every day! Gosh darn it. Why??? Haha I am joking. Food is one of the best and most enjoyable parts of the day, however, most mornings, I wake up already feeling behind. By the time I think about breakfast it is lunch time. This is why I love really easy breakfast options like a great piece of toast with a nice spread on it, and a few extras!
I am currently obsessed with the Jif spreads! They have Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter and Jif Maple Peanut Butter! And that makes me very peanut butter happy.
They also have other nut butters and spreads, and I have got to tell you, they are pretty amazing on toast! My current favorite combo is either the Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter with banana slices and chocolate bits, or the Almond Butter Spread with slivered almonds and chunks of dark chocolate! AMAZING! And takes like 3 minutes to throw together for a totally delicious breakfast. My kids almost feel like they are eating dessert!
But don’t forget Jif also has these amazing peanut butter bars. They are a must have at our house. I keep them in the snack drawer for quick grab and go consumption, and even have a few stashed in the glove box of the car for those times I run out the door without eating. These bars have a creamy peanut butter goodness, and a chewy delicious-ness that is very satisfying. I love a bar with some heft, and the peanut butter only makes it better!
One thing I really love about these bars is how well my kids eat them. They are granola bars, but taste more like a candy bar because of the peanut butter-y goodness. They are rich and creamy, and stick with you longer than many others because of the 7grams of protein.
I picked them up at Walmart on the aisle where other granola bars are found. And they were even on sale! You can find deals on both the Bars and the Spread on Ibotta:
Jif Bar – https://ibotta.com/app/retailer/any/offer/51525
Jif Spread – https://ibotta.com/app/retailer/any/offer/51534
Anyway, these are definitely a regular on our shopping list, and since they are a relatively new product, I thought I would share them with you because trust me when I say you want to give them a try. The bars are convenient and delicious, and a great snack option. The spreads are everything you want from a peanut butter spread and more.
I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
