Tried this recipe. Ver good smelled amazing. I think using a thinner bacon would help I picked up a thick cut of bacon & it didn’t crisp in 30 min nor were the beans completely done. Perhhaps a rise in temp with the 30 min time or same temp just longer time. One site recommends cooking thick cut bacon in the oven for 15-20 min on 400 degree temp.

This dish was absolutely amazing! I agree – I just about licked my plate clean! I had to bake mine a quite bit longer than 30 minutes though. I felt the bacon wasn’t exactly crisping up enough. Any suggestion to this? I didn’t want to over cook the green beans.

In reply to Rosie Pierson. Rosie, that is a great question, as I have not made that substitution I can't say with certainty it will work, but I believe it would work just fine. Turkey bacon has less fat, so keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn!

Hi sounds delicious. Was curious. Could I cook it with turkey bacon as a substitute for regular bacon? At same temp and all? would love to use this for thanksgiving
