Crock Pot Sweet Chili:
This sweet chili is a flavorful, hearty chili recipe with sweet undertones, and a tiny kick (optional), all cooked in the slow cooker, making it the easiest chili you will ever make.
Serve with cornbread, and all your favorite toppings. Or serve over a crockpot baked potato.
Did I mention, it is award winning? Yeah, it is. I entered it in a chili cook off and won. This chili is sweet and delicious, so if you like a sweeter chili, this is the one for you. I use a sweet chili sauce, and some brown sugar to make it fantastic.
It makes a lot, which means it is the perfect slow cooker recipe for feeding a crowd, or when you want to make lunches or dinner for a few days. The best thing about chili is it gets better and better as the flavors meld. I always love chili on the second day best.
Ok, my husband has this pet peeve… and I can’t say I blame him. His pet peeve is this, he hates chili. Like hates it. But every time he tells someone he hates chili, they almost always say, “Well, you haven’t tried my chili. It is the world’s best!”
I mean, how many world’s best chilis could there possibly be?
So I am definitely not going to say this is the world’s best. But what I will say, is this is a very easy to make chili recipe that is perfect for topping baked potatoes, or on its own with toppings such as sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, and chips.
