Are you a fan of the “new” thing with drinks? Have you seen or tried the “dirty” coke? Well I have, and I like it. Any excuse to add more sugar and fun to my beverages. I try to be healthy, I really do…but there are just so many good tasting foods and drinks that aren’t.

dirty coke float

A dirty coke is basically a coke with lime and coconut syrups added to it. I love the idea, but wanted to try a twist on it, and so I made a dirty coke float. And it was pretty darn good. Especially as a fun treat in this hot weather.

dirty coke

I did not want to use syrups, so I bought coconut gelato, and limeade! Yummy! And really eazy peazy, just the way I like it.

I added fresh lime too because I love it, and my kids get a kick out of having lime wedges on the top of their glasses.

Not a Coke drinker? How about Diet Coke? If you want a healthier frozen drink try one of my many smoothies.

We loved this for an occasional treat, and as a fun spin on the new thing in the world of soft drinks.
