😀 I agree with you Kat@Home.Made.Interest ! In ready some of these unnecessary criticisms, a barrage of culture misappropriated recipe names flooded my thoughts. ei. French Fries being universally known as not being French originating LOL. Recipes are commonly named based on one or more of the ingredients in the dish (just a you did) Besides, the name has very little to do with anything… it is the love of your family having a healthy meal, it is the aroma, the flavors, and best of all, having your family devour it all when you were certain you made more than enough for leftovers. Now that is what names a recipe. Great job Rachel!!!!! If you ever do considering renaming this recipe, I would just call it a Winner!! 😀 Karen, Kay’s Kitch-Yen
P.S. When I find a sale on meat, I like to make a bulk batch of Italian Meatballs (regular and minis) and freeze them in a large Ziploc to have on hand for quick fix lunches (meatball sandwiches using leftover pasta sauce, and soups) and dinners (pasta, stir-fries, casseroles and stews) . Now I’m not Italian and I use my own personal seasonings but I still call them Italian Meatballs; besides every Italian family has their own traditional recipe, unique to their own and yet they are not called Anna’s meatballs, Theresa’s meatballs etc. they are Italian Meatballs (to the rest of the world that is) 😀 😉 )
