In reply to Monica. Thanks Monica! I appreciate all of the support. Lexi is recovering pretty well so far, we just have to keep her spirits up. And Thailand will have to wait, we are hoping to get there early next year instead once Lexi is fully recovered.

What a horrific experience! I can’t believe some people’s lack of empathy. Yes, accidents happen, but that doesn’t diminish the trauma. Thinking of you and your family and wishing Lexi a speedy recovery. And I’d be super upset about having to cancel Thailand. Hopefully you’re not out of too much money on that.

In reply to Sue. Thank you for asking Sue, I probably should have mentioned how he is. He is doing ok. He feels some guilt, and we have tried to reassure him that we don't blame him and the girls will be fine. I think mostly it is hard to see his granddaughters hurting. Thank you for the prayers!

Wow, what a week your family had! How is your father? I don’t understand how “keyboard warriors” can justify criticizing someone, particularly in their time of need. Be grateful that you don’t know them if they can be that critical during an emergency, even if they don’t consider it an emergency, it was for you. Glad that Lexi is on the mend. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for her.
