In reply to Georgia. I am so sorry, have your springform spring closed when you make the lasagna. So put the sides around the bottom and close the spring. Then wrap the outside of the pan with foil, this way it won't leak. After you load the pan with your ingredients cover the top with foil so a bunch of liquid doesn't end up in your lasagna. The "handle" is just a separate piece of foil you fold so it in about 2 inches wide and 20 inches or so long. you use it as a sling so help you pull the lasagna out of the instant pot. Hope that clarifies.

Pictures of the assembly would be helpful here since you have specific instructions for wrapping in foil and the “handles”. I guess I’m not understanding where the spring closure on the springform will fit. Is there a special kind of instant pot spring form?

I can wing the recipe with no issues, but not being able to see the springform or the foil makes me scared to attempt this.
