This was great Peanut Butter Frosting. I put a pinch of salt in to cut any potential over sweetness, and it turned out perfect!

I just made this icing to go on a chocolate fudge cake to take to a pot luck lunch tomorrow. I haven’t tasted it on the cake (that will happen at the lunch tomorrow) but I sure love licking the beaters, spatula and bowl. It is amazing. I have some left over and I frosted a 9″ layer cake. I’ll use the rest on a banana chocolate chip cake for another time. YUMMY!!!

This has become my all time favorite frosting! I do use chunky peanut butter when I am not piping it onto a cake.
This frosting is delicious on a chocolate chip banana cake.
