I can’t believe summer is half way over already. It seems to have flown by. We have had a pretty fun summer with a few mini-vacations, fun outings, and lots of great treats. Cool treats are one of my favorite parts of summer. They are perfect for afternoons spent at home, a day at the pool, or just because.
Starburst sorbet bars review and giveawayWe definitely stock our freezer in the summer months and indulge with frozen treats everyday. I love Starburst, so I was really excited to see the sorbet bar option. I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a few boxes of the new STARBURST™ Brand Sorbet Bars. And let me tell you, they are awesome!

starburst review

On hot summer days I love cold treats, but I want flavor without worrying about what I am going to look like in my swimsuit after. These sorbet bars fit the ticket for me. They are light and delicious. You get the taste you expect from the strawberry fruit chew, but in a cool refreshing bar with only 70 delicious calories.

I found them in the refrigerated ice cream section at Wal-Mart. You can find them at Wal-Marts nationwide and select other grocery stores. The Wal-Mart I visited offered 2.6-ounce 4-Packs for $2.97.  Each store is different, but you can expect them to be $3.99 or less for 4. Or you can get a single from a convenience store for about $1.49.

I would consider us frozen treat connoisseurs. We have been fans of the candy-inspired frozen treats for a while now. They are a staple in our summer freezer. And the new STARBURST Brand Sorbet Bars rounds out Mars’ popular ice cream portfolio, which also includes DOVEBAR®, TWIX® and SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars.

If you haven’t tried them already, do so now! You won’t regret it. Here’s why we loved them:

Taste

They are light and airy, and a great cold treat.

Flavor

They offer that “burst” of strawberry flavor you would expect from STARBURST.

Experience

Our whole family enjoyed these treats. I loved that they are square like the candy, and that they did not melt too quickly. They were also the perfect size. Not too much, not too little. Just enough to satisfy my craving!
