Start by cubing the bread into one inch cubes.
Clean and prepare fruit for kabobs (optional)
Mix up the eggs, half and half, vanilla, sour cream, brown sugar, lemon juice, and salt. You can use a fork, but you will want to make sure there are not lumps of sour cream.
Add bread into bowl stirring thoroughly
Prepare a griddle by heating it to about 300 degrees.
Cook bread, flipping pieces regularly while browning each side
Prepare kabobs by threading fruit, and french toast onto skewers, or just french toast
Dust with powdered sugar, or serve with syrup
