Instructions
Combine marinade ingredients together, and place in a zip top bag with flank steak. Marinate at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.
After marinade time is over, thinly slice the flank steak, and discard the marinade.
Take your thinly sliced flank steak, and add salt and pepper to it to season it. Then set thinly sliced flank steak aside.
Turn oven on to broil on high to preheat.
In a large sauté pan, heat 1 Tbs olive oil over medium high heat, and add in onions and peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally.
When onions are almost caramelized (8-10 mins), add in flank steak, and Worcestershire sauce.
Sauté meat until it is browned. About 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat, and set aside.
Cut hoagies, and spray with coconut oil or cooking spray
Put on baking sheet and broil 1-2 minutes to crisp them up, and lightly brown them.
Remove hoagies from the oven, and put meat and sautéed onions and peppers onto hoagie, top with cheese
Return to broiler, and broil until cheese melts (About a minute)
Serve hot!
Notes
If in a pinch, skip the marinade, and just slice your meat super thin so it will be tender and easy to eat.
