Slow Cooker Essential Oil Lemon Blueberry Granola

Crunchy, sweet, lemon, blueberry granola made in the slow cooker, and flavored with essential oils!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup molasses or Yacon syrup
  • 1/2 cup oil coconut or vegetable
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil
  • 4 cups quick cook oats
  • 2 cups slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbs chia seeds
  • 1 tsp protein powder or hemp powder of choice unflavored preferrably
  • 1 cup dried blueberries and/or cranberries

Instructions

  • Turn crock pot on high and combine honey, molasses, oil, and lemon essential oil, stir until melted together
  • In a separate bowl mix together the nuts, oats, chia seeds, and protein powder or hemp powder
  • Pour into crock pot and stir well
  • Let cook 1hour 30 minutes, stirring every 30 minutes so nothing gets burnt
  • Add in dried cranberries or blueberries, and let cook 30 more minutes
  • Spread out on tray and let cool, store in air tight container or bag for up to 10 days.
