Semi-Homemade Caramel Pecan Donuts

- 1 can Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
- Chopped toasted pecans
Caramel Glaze
- 1/2-3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1/2 cup prepared caramel sauce
- 2 Tbs heavy whipping cream
Additional
- 3 + cups vegetable oil for frying
Donuts
Heat oil in fryer or in large pot on stove top to 375 degrees F
Poke a hole in the center of a biscuit, and stretch the dough to form a donut shape, leave a big hole, it will puff up and close in.
Fry for about 1 minute per side, until golden brown
Use a metal straw or tongs to flip, and to remove from fryer oil
Set on a cooling rack with paper towels under it to let any excess oil drip off.
Let cool one minute
Dip top of still warm donuts into caramel glaze, and return to cooling rack
Sprinkle on pecan pieces
Spoon additional glaze over the top of the pecans if desired
