2cupsGouda Cheeseor any other variety of cheese you love
½Tbscorn starch
12ouncesevaporated milk
½tspfresh ground pepper
½tspsalt
Instructions
Start by making the cheese sauce.
You will need a small bowl, and toss Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Gouda cheese in corn starch.
Once tossed, put cheese in a medium sauce pan, and add evaporated milk.
Begin to heat over medium heat, and Whiskuntil smooth and creamy (about 5-10 minutes)
Season with salt and pepper
Measure out 1 cup of cheese sauce, and in a large bowl, mix together cheese sauce, sour cream, jalapenos and bacon. Set aside
Cut out interior of loaf of bread, and fill with cheese
Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes until bubbly and browned on top
Garnish with green onion, bacon, and jalapenos
Serve with chips

The cheese sauce makes more than you need for this recipe. You can cut the cheese sauce recipe down, or save the additional sauce by freezing it. This recipe is part of another post where I show how to use the cheese sauce in multiple ways.This can be made ahead, and wrapped in foil, just be sure to bake just before serving, rather than in advance.
