Whisk together all of the Marinade ingredients in a bowl. Reserve 1/2 a cup.
Pour marinade into a large freezer bag and add chicken.
Marinate 4-8 hours.
Remove chicken from fridge and let sit at room temperature 20-30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Use cooking spray or olive oil and coat the inside of a baking dish.
Place the chicken pieces in a single layer, without extra liquid.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until chicken reaches internal temp of 160 degrees
Remove chicken from oven, and turn oven on to broil.
Pour reserved marinade over the top of the chicken thighs.
Return to oven heated to Broil on high.
Broil for 3-4 minutes on high to crisp up skin, and turn it a golden brown.
Rest 5 minutes before serving.
