Garlic Chicken Lo Mein
Garlic Chicken Lo Mein: This delicious garlic chicken lo mein is so easy to make and the perfect take-out fake out.
Servings: 4 people
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1 Tbs Garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast diced small
- 1 zucchini diced small
- 1 yellow squash diced small
- 1/2 a large red bell pepper diced small
- 1 cup small chopped broccoli
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- 1/2 a package lo mein noodles
- 1 tablespoon of rice wine Mirin or dry sherry
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp of chili garlic paste or Sriracha sauce
- 1 Tbs oyster sauce
- 2 Tbs water
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
Cook lo mein noodles according to package directions.
Mix sauce and set aside.
Place a large skillet over medium heat, and add olive oil.
Add garlic and ginger, and saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
Add chicken, and cook 2-3 minutes, then add in vegetables, except broccoli and sugar snap peas.
Cook until veggies are tender and chicken is cooked through, approximately 3-5 minutes
Add noodles and sauce, toss everything together, and add broccoli and sugar snap peas to pan.
Cook an additional 1-2 minutes, to reduce sauce, and cook broccoli.
