Baked Sesame Drumsticks

Baked Sesame Chicken Drumsticks, these sweet and spicy drumsticks are baked to perfection, and offer a crispy, skin, flavorful meal, and juicy tender meat.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs Honey
  • 1/4 c Brown sugar Or sub 1/3 cup more honey
  • 1 Tbs Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 2 Tbs Toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbs Soy Sauce or Braggs Liquid Amino Acids
  • 2 1/2 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 3 lbs chicken Drumsticks about 10 legs
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, sriracha, sesame seeds, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. 
  • Pat drumsticks dry and set aside, and season with a little salt and pepper. 
  • Add the chicken drumsticks to a large zip-top bag and pour the honey sesame marinade over the chicken. Massage the bag after closing to ensure all of the chicken is coated. 
  • Refrigerate the chicken drumsticks in the marinade for at least 30 minutes. For optimal results and best flavor allow the chicken to marinate for 2-12 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with foil or a silicone baking mat, and spray with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the chicken in an even layer on prepared baking sheet 
  • Bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes 
  • Flip chicken over and bake an additional 10 minutes or so until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
