Apple Pie French Toast

This fun twist on a traditional french toast had my kids going crazy for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe French Toast
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple cut into chunks
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 ounces cream cheese

Instructions

  • Mix french toast batter according to recipe instructions.
  • While cooking french toast, melt butter in a saucepan, add apples and spices, and cook until apples are soft, about 5 minutes
  • While french toast is hot, spread cream cheese over top, then top with cooked apples.
  • Enjoy!
