One Pot Veggie Packed Pasta Primavera

This one-pot pasta is perfect for date night at home. It is loaded with veggies, flavor, and fun for a romantic date night in!

  • 3 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces linguine uncooked
  • 1 small white onion sliced thin
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups asparagus cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 cup fresh green beans snipped
  • 1 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic granuals
  • 2-3 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 Tbs dried parsley
  • 3/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped thin
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 Tbs grated Parmesan cheese
  • zest of 1 lemon and 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste About a tsp each


  • In a large pot add chicken stock, linguine, onion, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, green beans, garlic, garlic granuals, paprika, salt and pepper to a large pot set over medium-high heat.
  • Get your olive oil, and drizzle it over the top.
  • Bring everything to a boil, and as soon as it boils give it a stir, or toss with some tongs.
  • You will need to do this until the noodles start to soften, but aren't soft yet,(about 6-7 minutes).
  • After about 6-7 minutes add in your peas, parsley, basil, heavy whipping cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and parmesan.
  • Toss for 1-2 more minutes, until veggies and pasta are both tender.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Let the pasta sit and the sauce thicken
  • Taste and season a little more.
  • Garnish with extra basil, Parmesan, and fresh tomatoes if desired,
