Quick and Eazy Stromboli

A pepperoni and peperocini stromboli made with premade roll dough, and that is a real family favorite.

  • 1 bag of frozen dinner roll dough 12 count
  • 30-40 pepperoni
  • 1 cup Mezzetta Deli Sliced Mild Pepper Rings
  • 1/2 lb pepper-jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup cotija cheese optional
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 Tbs Garlic seasoning


  • Take dinner rolls out of package, spray with non-stick spray, cover, and let thaw and rise for about 2-3 hours (I just pull them out at lunch time so it is ready to go by dinner)
  • Smush all the rolls together so they make one big batch of dough.*
  • Using a rolling pin, roll dough flat into rectangle shape
  • Place a layer of the pepper-jack cheese , either shredded or cut into slices leaving about an inch on either side
  • Layer on pepperoni
  • Layer on Mezzetta Pepper Rings
  • Sprinkle on cotija cheese
  • Roll into a long log, and press to seal the seam.
  • Brush olive oil over the top
  • Sprinkle with garlic seasoning
  • Bake at 350 for 40 mins
  • Cut into even slices
  • Serve with marinara dipping sauce


You can use a bread dough, or a pizza dough, we just have found we prefer this method as the flavor is perfect, and the dough cooks perfectly!
