Browned Butter Asparagus
You guys, browned butter…is there anything more delicious? Why is butter just so darn tasty? Anyway, this was the perfect accompanying dish because it cooks quick, and tastes amazing.
- 2 bundle asparagus 20-30 asparagus spears
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 Tbs butter
- Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Snap ends off asparagus, and toss in olive oil
Lay them flat in a single layer on a baking sheet
sprinkle salt and pepper over the top
Bake for 6-8 minutes until cooked and tender but still crispy
On the stove top, brown your butter by heating it for 2-3 minutes until light brown
Pour browned butter over the top of the asparagus, toss, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
