Easy Beef and Broccoli
An easy to make, way better than take out, insanely delicious beef and broccoli!
- 1 1/3- 1 1/2 lb skirt steak cut into thin strips
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbs minced garlic
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 Tbs ginger paste
- 1/2 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 Tbs honey
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chicken or beef stock
- 2 Tbs corn starch
Mix together all sauce ingredients.
Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan
Add beef, and cook 1-2 minutes per side
Dump sauce over the top and bring to a boil
Continue to boil until sauce thickens (3-5 minutes)
Add in broccoli, stir to coat completely.
Put lid on and let steam for 1 minute.
Remove lid, serve over white rice.
