Biscuits and Chicken Sausage Gravy
Creamy chicken sausage gravy over fresh baked biscuits. A quick, easy, and hearty meal that is sure to be your favorite.
- 8 prepared Buttermilk biscuits
Chicken Sausage Gravy
- 1- 5 ounce package All Natural Golden Brown® Chicken Breakfast Sausage Patties
- 2 Tbs butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Rough chop the chicken sausage
Heat chopped sausage in a skillet over medium heat with 2 Tbs of butter
When heated through, sift 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour over the top and stir well.
Pour in 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream and 1 1/2 cups milk, and whisk together
Add salt and pepper to taste
Stirring continuously, heat until thickened 3-5 minutes
Remove from heat, let sit 2-3 minutes, taste, season more if desired
Spoon over hot biscuits and enjoy!
