Ingredients

  • 1- 9 inch pie crust uncooked
  • 8 cups Tart Apples approximately, apples vary in size, so fill that pan up. Use peeled and sliced tart apples like Golden Delicious or Bramley.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Crumb Topping

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Put pie crust in a pie tin
  • Peel and slice apples and put in a large bowl. Toss with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Layer apples into pie crust
  • In a small bowl, combine crumb topping ingredients, and using a fork, combine until a crumble forms. It should have a lumpy, sand like appearance.
  • Top pie with crumble mixture
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes
