Thai Tuna Wonton Cups

Thai Tuna Wonton Cups are a bite sized appetizer full of Thai inspired flavors and spices, as well as hearty, delicious albacore tuna. This savory morsel makes an excellent on-the-go lunch, or the perfect savory party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 12 Wonton wrappers
  • 10 ounces Tuna in Olive Oil 2 cans Genova Albacore
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbs Sriracha
  • 1 Tbs Thai Seasoning Paste Gourmet Gardens
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup cucumber chopped small
  • 3/4 cup red pepper chopped small
  • 1/2 cup red onion chopped small
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped fine

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Place wonton wrappers on bottom of small muffin tin, and use water to shape them.
  • Bake for 3-5 minutes until crispy
  • Chop cucumber, red onion, cilantro, and red pepper
  • Stir sriracha and thai seasoning paste together.
  • In a medium sized bowl, mix tuna with fish sauce, sriracha and thai seasoning paste mixture, lime juice, cucumber, red onion, red pepper, and cilantro.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Taste and season with additional lime juice, salt, and pepper
  • Serve by scooping tuna mixture into wonton cups and garnishing with additional cilantro
