Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 10 oz package of spinach
  • 1 6 oz package of dried cranberries
  • 2/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 medium apples sliced very thin

For the Balsamic Vinegar Dressing

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 shallot minced
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

For the Salad

  • Toss all ingredients together.

For the Balsamic Vinegar Dressing

  • Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake well to combine.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Dress salad lightly and serve remaining dressing with the meal for guests to dress as they please.
