Ingredients
for the whip cream

cup
heavy whipping cream
35%

tbsp
maple syrup
for the hot chocolate

milk of choice

unsweetened cacao
preferably dutch-processed

Instructions
Whip cream either with an
electric hand mixer
or stand mixer or even by hand until stiff peaks form. Then add maple syrup and stir well. Set aside.
Bring milk to the boil over medium-low heat stirring often in order to avoid from burning to the bottom.
Once the first bubbles appear, immediately remove from heat, add cacao and cinnamon and whisk until no lumps are left.
Pour chocolate milk into a large cup, add cream either with a spoon or a
piping bag
.
sprinkle crumbled up sliced almonds and some cinnamon on top an enjoy right away.
