Air Fryer Fries
Simple, no fuss, straight from the potato fries that are air fried to crispy, delicious pillowy perfection. Crispy outside, soft inside, these are what fry dreams are made of.
- 1 baker potato large, peeled
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Peel potato, and cut lengthwise into 1/4 inch thick slices. Then turn over and make additional cuts to make the fries, 1/4 inch square.
Toss potatoes with vegetable oil and seasonings (salt and pepper) until well coated.
Place fries in a single layer with space between them in an air-fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary or use a trivet to create two layers
Set air fryer to 400 degrees.
Cook at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, shaking the fries at the half way point
When 20 minutes is up, check fries for desired crispiness and golden brown-ness, add time if desired.
Remove from air fryer, and serve with favorite dipping sauce.
