Easy Chili Recipe
Easy chili recipe with the perfect spice levels, complexity of flavor, and ease to make!
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 ½ cups onions chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 29 ounces stewed tomatoes 2 cans
- 14.5 ounces Roasted tomatoes with green chiles (Rotel)
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 15 ounces kidney beans with liquid
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine ground beef, onion, and garlic in large dutch oven over medium heat.
Cook and stir over medium heat until beef is brown. Drain and excess grease off the meat.
Stir in remaining ingredients, and heat to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low.
Let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
