Steak Tacos- Griddle Style

Ingredients

Meat marinade

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 garlic salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • Beef- cut into small pieces for tacos
  • 1/4 c onion chopped
  • 1/4 c bell pepper chopped

Toppings

  • avocado
  • tomato
  • sour cream
  • Sharp cheddar
  • corn tortillas

Cabbage Slaw

  • 1.5 c cabbage chopped for slaw
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped small
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Make meat marinade, marinade in fridge for 5-10 mins.
  • Cook meat with chopped onion and pepper
  • Heat griddle to 325
  • Place corn tortillas on griddle
  • Place cheese on center of tortillas
  • When cheese starts to melt, add meat mixture
  • While heating, mix cilantro slaw sauce of lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt, and mix in bowl with cilantro and cabbage
  • Add to hot taco, fold in half
  • Remove from heat
  • Add additional toppings: avocado, tomato, sour cream
