- 1 jar RAGU Homestyle Thick and Hearty Meat Sauce
- 1 lb ground sausage or hamburger
- 1 cup zucchini chopped small
- 1 cup yellow squash chopped small
- 1/2 cup yellow onion diced
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1- 16 ounce box ziti noodles
- 1 -8 ounce can crescent dough sheet
- 1 Tbs butter
- 1 Tbs Garlic salt or Johnny's garlic seasoning, divided
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cook noodles according to package directions
In a large skillet, saute onion, zucchini, and yellow squash, with ground sausage with 1/2 Tbs garlic salt. Cook until veggies are tender and meat is cooked.
In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, sauce, and veggie and meat mixture together
Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish
Place crescent dough on top, brush with butter and sprinkle with garlic salt
Bake at 375 degrees for 13-17 minutes until top is golden brown, and pasta dish is heated and bubbly.
