Over medium heat, add the ground beef, 1/2 cup salsa, and a pinch of salt and pepper to a large skillet.
Break the meat up into small pieces, and cook 5-7 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat, and drain any excess liquid or grease off the ground beef.
Return the skillet to the heat and stir in the garlic, chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt and pepper, cooking until mixed well and fragrant, approximately 1 minute.
Add the remaining salsa and simmer the mixture for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
