Apple Pie French Toast
This fun twist on a traditional french toast had my kids going crazy for breakfast.

- 1 recipe French Toast
- 1 Granny Smith Apple cut into chunks
- 2 Tbs butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 2 ounces cream cheese
Mix french toast batter according to recipe instructions. While cooking french toast, melt butter in a saucepan, add apples and spices, and cook until apples are soft, about 5 minutes, then add vanilla, and cook an additional minute.
While french toast is hot, spread cream cheese over top, then top with cooked apple mixture.
