- 2 lbs chicken breast boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 4 pieces
- 12.3 ounces pizza sauce of choice (Rao's)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 15 pepperoni slices 15-20, just cover the top of your chicken
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to season chicken
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Arrange the chicken in a baking dish and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Spoon pizza sauce evenly over each piece of chicken.
Top with cheese and pepperoni. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temp) and the cheese is melty and golden.
Serve and enjoy! Garnish with a little fresh basil or parsley if you’re feeling fancy.
