Slow Cooker Corn on the Cob

Ingredients

  • 8 eats fresh corn on the cob husked and cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons butter sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Corn

  • Remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn. Rinse the corn and pat dry.
  • Place the corn into the slow cooker. Depending on the size of your crockpot, you may need to break the ears in half to fit more.

Step 2: Season and Slow Cook

  • Add butter slices over the corn, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker to help create steam.
  • Cover and cook: HIGH: 2–3 hours or LOW: 4–5 hours, The corn is ready when it is tender and easily pierced with a fork.

Step 3: Serve

  • Carefully remove the hot corn from the crockpot and brush generously with butter.
  • Serve immediately with extra butter for dipping!
