Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef sirloin cut into thin strips
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes with liquid
  • ½ yellow onion sliced
  • 2 large green bell peppers sliced
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Thinly slice beef, peppers, and onions
  • Add beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, sugar, salt, and cornstarch to the crock, and whisk together.
  • Add in stewed tomatoes, onions, peppers, and beef.
  • Stir well to mix everything up.
  • Cover, and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
