Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • Seasoning to taste salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite blends work great
  • 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 21 ounces cream of mushroom soup 2 cans
  • 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, Colby jack
  • 32 ounces tater tots

Instructions

  • Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, 1 tbs of Worcestershire (optional), or whatever seasoning blend you prefer. Drain excess grease.
  • Combine the filling: Add frozen mixed vegetables and cream of mushroom soup. And stir until everything is evenly coated and combined.
  • Assemble the casserole: Spread the beef mixture into a 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Then arrange tater tots in a single layer over the top.
  • Bake: Bake at 425°F for 40–45 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  • Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes, then scoop and enjoy!
