- 8 ounces Pizza dough
- 1/4 cup Trader Joe's Bruschetta Sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh tomatoes sliced or halved
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella torn into pieces
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves torn
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or to taste
Preheat your Gozney pizza oven according to manufacturer instructions.
Place the prepared and shaped pizza dough on a pizza peel. And put in preheated oven, cook, turning as needed, for 1-2 minutes until cooked through, and slightly browned.
Remove from pizza oven, place on peel to top.
Spread the bruschetta evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
Top with fresh tomatoes and pieces of mozzarella.
Transfer the flatbread to the pizza oven.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, rotating as needed, until the crust is crisp and the mozzarella is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven.
Immediately top with torn basil leaves.
Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
Slice and serve warm.
Oven Method
Bake in a 450°F oven for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
Serving Tip
For extra flavor, finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Recipe Tip
Because the Gozney pizza oven cooks at high temperatures, keep an eye on the flatbread and rotate frequently for even cooking.
