Ingredients

Topping

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts
  • Pinch of salt

Whipped goat cheese

  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon hot honey
  • Pinch of Salt

Garnish

  • 1 Tablespoon hot honey
  • Orange zest to top

Instructions

  • Place a skillet on stove top over medium heat.
  • To the skillet, add butter, brown sugar, 2 tbsp honey honey and orange zest.
  • Whisk together until combined, and sugar has dissolved about 2-3 mins).
  • To the pan, add dried cranberries and walnuts and stir to combine. Let cook for 1-2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
  • In a separate bowl, combine softened goat cheese, cream cheese and 1 tbsp hot honey and season with salt.
  • Scoop the cheese mixture into a serving bowl and top with the walnut mixture!
  • Garnish if desired with a drizzle of honey and more orange zest, and serve with crackers or bread.
