Cranberry Orange Whipped Goat Cheese Dip
Ingredients
Topping
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons hot honey
- 1 tsp orange zest
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ¾ cup chopped walnuts
- Pinch of salt
Whipped goat cheese
- 8 oz goat cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 Tablespoon hot honey
- Pinch of Salt
Garnish
- 1 Tablespoon hot honey
- Orange zest to top
Instructions
- Place a skillet on stove top over medium heat.
- To the skillet, add butter, brown sugar, 2 tbsp honey honey and orange zest.
- Whisk together until combined, and sugar has dissolved about 2-3 mins).
- To the pan, add dried cranberries and walnuts and stir to combine. Let cook for 1-2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, combine softened goat cheese, cream cheese and 1 tbsp hot honey and season with salt.
- Scoop the cheese mixture into a serving bowl and top with the walnut mixture!
- Garnish if desired with a drizzle of honey and more orange zest, and serve with crackers or bread.
