- 2 lbs chicken wings drumettes and flats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsps Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
Cajun Sauce
- 2 Tbsps butter melted
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 Tbs fresh parsley or green onion for garnish
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and 1 1/2 Tbs Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
Drizzle with olive oil and mix again.
Arrange and Bake
Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. This setup allows air to circulate around the wings.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack, ensuring they aren’t touching.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Serve and Enjoy
Remove from the oven and place in a bowl, toss with remaining cajun seasoning and 2 Tbs melted butter, let rest for a couple of minutes. Or pop back into heated oven to finish crisping up the skin.
Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired, and serve hot.
