Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 8 ounces queso blanco dip
  • 16 ounces salsa verde

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
  • Season with oregano, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the minced garlic.
  • Pour the queso blanco dip and salsa verde over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or high for 2½ to 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir until fully coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve warm in tacos, bowls, nachos, or however you like.

Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freezer Friendly
Freeze cooled chicken for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
