- 8 slices Garlic Bread Texas Toast 1 box
- 14 ounces sliced roast beef deli meat
- 4 tablespoons prepared horseradish or to taste
- 1 au jus packet prepared according to package directions
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Prepare the Texas Toast: Preheat the oven according to the package directions. Place the Texas Toast on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through if desired.
Heat the Roast Beef: While the toast bakes, prepare the au jus according to the packet instructions. Add the sliced roast beef to the warm au jus and let it heat through for a few minutes.
Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread about 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish on one side of each Texas Toast slice (adjust to taste).
Layer warm roast beef on each slices of the toast, then top with a slice of provolone cheese.
These are open faced, but if you want, you an add another slice of Texas Toast to each sandwich.
Melt the Cheese: Place the assembled sandwiches back in the oven for a few minutes, just until the cheese is melted and everything is hot.
Serve & Dip: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with a small bowl of warm au jus for dipping.
