Ingredients for Open Faced Texas Toast French Dip
- 1 box Garlic Bread Texas Toast (8 slices)
- 1 pound sliced roast beef deli meat
- 4 tablespoons prepared horseradish (or to taste)
- 1 au jus packet, prepared according to package directions
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Texas Toast
Preheat the oven according to the package directions. Place the Texas Toast on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through if desired. - Heat the Roast Beef
While the toast bakes, prepare the au jus according to the packet instructions. Add the sliced roast beef to the warm au jus and let it heat through for a few minutes. - Assemble the Sandwiches
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish on one side of each Texas Toast slice (adjust to taste).
