Eating fresh, by our standards here at EZPZ means you are eating fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and grains in their fresh form. In other words, when given the choice, choose fresh fruits over dried, canned, or frozen. Eat sprouted whole grains as opposed to refined grains.
The following are some of the common benefits experienced by those who meet there caloric needs from fresh, whole, live and uncooked fruits, vegetables, and sprouted pulses (combo of nuts, seeds, grains, and legumes):
- Simplicity: No cooking means that mealtime preparation and cleanup is cut to a few minutes.
- In Season: Eating raw in not complicated; simply enjoy the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables during each of various seasons of the year.
- Nutrients: Raw foods possess a greater overall nutrient value than their cooked counterparts.
- Intelligence: Living foods have intelligence that can talk with the intelligence in every cell to determine how to best meet the needs of those cells, and the do best meet those needs.
- No Additives: Raw foods do not contain flavor enhancers, chemicals, and additives.
- Heart Healthy: Eating raw foods helps eliminate some of the dangers found in heating oils and fats, which are used for cooking. Ater just six to eight weeks of eating all raw foods, it is common to arrest and begin the reversal of heart disease.
