Cheesy garlic butter pull aparts, a savory monkey bread that has only 5 ingredients, and is made in mini individual form, which makes it perfect for game day!
I don’t know about you guys, but the easier a recipe is to make, the better! Especially on weekends. I always thought weekends were supposed to be for relaxing. But the reality at our house looks more like a three ringed circus, and lots of running around to get “stuff” done. Throw in a game and the required food for watching said game, and well, anything but relaxing.
Am I right? Or am I right?
So I want to help take some of the hassle out of it, while keeping all the flavor in. These Mini Garlic Butter Cheesy Pull Aparts are so easy to make. Take only 5 ingredients. And are ALWAYS a hit on game day.
Gather up your ingredients (not pictured: cheese)!
Let the rolls rise for 2-3 hours. They should double in size. You can do this in the morning. The timing does not have to be perfect, which I love about this recipe. Just let the rolls rise. If you have more time, stick them in the fridge for a slow rise.
Then cut each roll into four pieces. Melt your butter, and stir in minced garlic and parsley. Then just dip each piece of roll into it. Then assemble the monkey bread/pull aparts by putting two in the bottom of a cup, and sprinkling some cheese on top.
Once you have added your cheese, put two more pieces of roll dough on top of that. Your oven should be preheating at this point. Then all you have to do is bake!
While the pull aparts bake, I do a quick clean up. I love how quick and easy it is to clean up the mess from these. A few drips of melted butter, and maybe some sticky residue from the rolls. I just get a Viva® Vantage® paper towel, get it wet, and wipe up the mess! Then throw it away! The towels are tough and stretchy, so they don’t rip or tear, even when you have to scrub. And they are soft. If you haven’t tried Viva® Vantage® Towels before, you should, especially if you have kids. My little ones love helping with this recipe, so you better believe I make them help with the clean up too!
Anyway, you should be done cleaning long before the pull aparts are done cooking, so when they are, just pull them out and let them cool on a cooling rack for 5-10 minutes.
Then I pull out theViva® Vantage® paper towels once again for keeping hands clean, especially those little hands that love to wipe themselves on my couch! Add in a bowl of some marinara for dipping, and you are set for game time.
