Grilled Chicken, a high protein Southwest Veggie Blend, fresh avocado, fresh cilantro, and fresh sliced red peppers, all wrapped together in a rice paper spring roll wrapper.
How would you describe the perfect meal? I love this question because everyone answers it so differently. Some people like light and fresh, others like heavy and filling. Some like seasonal, others classic.
The answers for the methods, cuisines, and even portion sizes will always be different. However, most of the time when asked, people will respond with “easy” “quick” “no hassle” or some other variation of that.
We all lead busy lives, and effortless family meals seem really elusive. They are few and far between, which is why I absolutely love these Southwest Spring Rolls! Not only do they taste amazing, they can be made in about 10 minutes. Start to finish.
I have four kids, so I am a huge fan of meals that I can put together quickly. Unfortunately, most of those are nutrition-less and not exactly something I am proud to feed my children.
But these spring rolls defy the odds and offer convenience and ease along with nutrition. The Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken Breast Fillets are fully-cooked, so you just have to heat them up. They are also 98% fat free and have no preservatives. The Birds Eye Veggies are just as convenient as the chicken. They are microwavable, and high in protein, which makes this a simple protein packed meal that rocks!
I absolutely love spring rolls in the summer as they are fresh, light, and don’t require heating up my house to make. But they are even better with Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Fillets and Birds Eye Protein Blends from Walmart. Both can be prepared in the microwave, which allows me to make a quick and healthy meal in minutes without my oven or stove top!
Here’s how:
Get your spring roll wrapper/rice paper wet by immersing it in warm water for about 5 seconds, and place it on a plate or cookie sheet.
Add your filling: The Birds Eye Protein Blends Southwest Style, sliced Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Fillets, Pepper, Avocado, and Cilantro.
Then wrap it all together by folding on edge over, then both sides, and roll. Roll it tight so when you cut it, the fillings do not fall out.
Then just slice them in half and enjoy! You could even dip them in a Tomatillo Ranch dressing or Avocado dip. How amazing would that be?
These protein packed spring rolls are great for filling bellies, but they are also great for the mind. Protein provides the amino acid building blocks that create the neuro pathways, and provide energy to the brain. And when you can do all that with something that tastes this good…well I won’t say no.
But lucky for you, you don’t just have to take my word for it. You can sample both products and see how good they are for yourself at an in store demo occurring on 6/25 – 6/28 from 12 – 4pm. Just check this list to see if a Walmart store near you is participating: https://cbi.as/dlqt
Then make these easy, yummy, spring rolls!
