Thank you Maille for sponsoring a giveaway for my readers. All opinions are my own.
Perfect picnic foods! A round-up of over 50 recipes ideal for taking on a lovely summer picnic.
Whether you are picnicking with a lover, your family, or friends, a hamper full of the best foods is going to make it a special experience. Picnics are a great way to relax, and have fun with family and friends. I do not picnic nearly enough. Do you?
I think I need to learn to slow down and enjoy the little things, like foods a bit more. My kids are in a French program at school, and I love listening to them speak French. Doesn’t regular picnicking just seem like a French thing to do? When I envision a really amazing picnic, I totally envision things like crusty breads, tarts, and really amazing pickles, onions, cheese, and more.
Maille is a French brand of mustards and cornichons that are SOOO GOOD! Cornichons are pickles, small, tart pickles that have a signature mix of vinegar, tarragon, cloves, and baby onions, as well as mustard seeds. They are amazing. And the perfect way to add flavor and crunch to whatever you use them in. Whether it is a potato salad (like one of the ones below), or on their own. They are great with cured meats and cheeses.
And because this post is all about picnicking, I thought it would be fun to partner with Maille to offer a fun giveaway of the Maille classic range: Dijon Originale, Old Style, Honey Dijon, Horseradish, Rich Country, 2 jars of cornichons and a Maille apron from France, for a total worth $75+ to get you on your way to the perfect picnic.
