This no-churn ice cream takes just 3 ingredients: SunnyD, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk. There’s no ice cream maker needed. I mix it right in my blender, pop it in the freezer, and it tastes just like the orange creamsicles I loved as a kid.
Sometimes a family just needs some unapologetic fun. You know, the kind of fun that involves playing and laughing together and eating all kinds of goodies? That kind of fun!
A Backyard SunnyD Party
My kids are always asking for SunnyD, so I figured it was time to throw a SunnyD party, full of sunshine and laughter. I invited my kids, and let them invite some friends!
Then I made a few recipes perfect for a sweet outdoor summer party: Creamy Orange Raspberry Popsicles and this Orange Creamsicle No-Churn Ice Cream (see the recipe below)! But I couldn’t stop there. I was having so much fun with the tangy sweet flavor of SunnyD, I decided to use it as a snow cone syrup too!
I made a batch of different simple syrups, then let the kids make snow cones, cover them in SunnyD, and add an extra burst of flavor with the syrups. Flavored simple syrups are great in lemonade and frozen drinks too. A total staple for summer!
To make it all cute and fun I used brightly colored banners and dishes, fun straws, and tried to keep to the warm yellow, red, and orange colors that make me think of summer! It was not much work, and I think it turned out darling.
Besides the yummy food and fun decorations, we just enjoyed the backyard. We put a sprinkler under the trampoline, broke out the sidewalk chalk, kicked a ball around, and had fun enjoying the warm sunshine!
How to Make No-Churn Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream
The highlight of the party for me was definitely the ice cream! It was so easy to make, I made it right in my blender, and it was absolutely delicious. You definitely want to make it.

Orange Creamsicle No-Churn Ice Cream + SunnyD party!
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 6.75 ounce Bottle of Tangy Original Flavor SunnyD
- 2 cups Heavy cream
- 1-14 ounce Can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender, and blend approximately 1 minute until the consistency of whipped cream.
- Scrape out of blender into a dish, such as a bread loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for about 6 hours.
