Breakfast Boxes: Meal prepping your breakfast just got so tasty and fun!

No recipe in today’s post you guys! But instead I have a simple suggestion, make some Breakfast Boxes ahead to make mornings easier. Simple enough right? Honestly, taking a little time once a week to make some breakfasts for the mornings means simpler mornings, and fuller tummies.

I am not always on top of things, and truthfully, way too often my kids end up eating a big old bowl of sugared cereal. But, when I do have it together, they get one of these great breakfast options:

  • Waffles: I use this awesome waffle recipe, it has some added protein, it tastes AMAZING, and it is super easy to make. Or, I make a batch of these insanely good Toaster Waffles.  And if I am only making these boxes for myself and the hubs I make these insane vanilla protein waffles. They are bomb.
  • Pancakes: Ok, truth be told, these are from a mix. But if I was going to make from scratch, they would be these whole wheat pancakes.
  • Breakfast sandwiches: These are soooo simple to make, and a real winner with the kids. They are some fried eggs, some Canadian Bacon or ham, and cheese, all in an English muffin.
  • French Toast Sticks: These are just French Toast cut into pieces. You want to cut the bread before battering and cooking. That way, each side of the bread gets that nice battered, crisp edge. Delicious!

Easy Storing For These Breakfast Boxes

So anyway, I pair these up with some breakfast meats, some fresh berries or fruit of choice, and of course something to dip it all in. Like a little container of syrup. I like to use a 2 ounce portion cup. For my family I also have found these reusable meal prep containers helpful because it has 3 separate compartments for dividing your Breakfast Boxes.
